Is Live Smackdown good for WWE?

Smackdown is going LIVE!!!

Yes, you read it right. WWE Smackdown is going LIVE from July 19 & it also marks the return of WWE Draft, so expect a lot of performers switching brands & tag teams being broken.

It may come as a surprise for all of us, because normally WWE would pay most attention to RAW than Smackdown, however with the change of plans and two people running one show ruining the brand value, this comes as a great move.

I'm sure that this opens way for old talents to make fresh waves in WWE, also, a fresh thing will happen with the WWE Draft, maybe Cena will go to Smackdown & by god he should.

He has already won so many titles so many times that now he needs to take some rest & give the new talents a chance to prove themselves on the big stage while he can help build the landscape of Smackdown as it goes live & needs some really energetic performers like Cena.

Let's see how things transcend on July 19th.

Republished from Wrestlezone

As noted, Kurt Angle appeared on Mark Madden’s radio show earlier this week and said his WWE return is a matter of “when” not “if.” This fueled speculation that Angle might be headed to WWE in time for the upcoming brand split.
However, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com is reporting WWE officials have confirmed Angle is not returning to WWE, despite Angle claiming he had recent talks with Triple H.
Kurt Angle, 47, last competed in WWE in 2006, and finished up his TNA contract in March. He has been working select indy dates with recent matches against the likes of Rey Mysterio Jr. and Zack Sabre Jr.

Why did Stephanie McMahon not appear on RAW? Trish Stratus on a possible WWE return

Republished from PWSlam

– Stephanie McMahon was not on Monday’s episode of RAW and the reason that she missed the show is because she is in Cannes, France for the Cannes Lions festival.
– WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently appeared on 104.5 The Team to promote the new movie Gridlocked. During the interview, Stratus explained that she would like to wrestle Natalya if she were to come out of retirement once again. Stratus also said that if she were to return the ring, then it would have to be against someone that she could elevate. You can listen to the interview here:

-DREAMWAVE Wrestling recently announced that former NXT star Zahra Schreiber has left the wrestling business. The following was posted on their Facebook page:
“At our last show, ANNIVERSARY VII on April 9th, 2016, there was a match between Deep 6 and Team DREAMWAVE where control of the company was on the line. Team Deep Six was successful, hence making Zahra Schreiber the new CEO of DREAMWAVE.
Two months later, during our Summer break, I received a message from Zahra stating that she was leaving the wrestling business completely. It’s not my place to reveal her reasoning behind it. If that is something Zahra wants to share with the public at some point, that is her decision. I wish Zahra would have finished out her commitments with DREAMWAVE, but there are certainly no hard feelings, I wish her the best, and thank her for her contributions to DREAMWAVE during her time here.”
Schreiber was fired from WWE after fans found racist related content on her social media accounts from a few years ago.
