Republished from sportskeeda

Jeff Hardy wants his dream match against The Undertaker at Hell In A Cell.

The Undertaker, please!
TNA Superstar Jeff Hardy has insisted that he wants one last match against The Undertaker at Hell In A Cell. The two last met in a ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Championship back in 2002, which The Phenom won. However, since then the two haven’t crossed paths but with Jeff’s TNA contract coming to an end next year a return to WWE is always possible.

John Cena Explains Why He Doesn’t Dress with WWE Talents, Says He “Doesn’t Care About Dean Ambrose”, Defends Taking the WWE Jet

Republished from Wrestlezone

As seen on WWE Talking Smack last night, John Cena made an appearance and responded to claims made by Dean Ambrose on Smackdown Live last night. You can watch the video of Cena’s appearance below and the following are some highlights:
Cena on taking the company jet when traveling in WWE:
“Every single time I get put on the field everyone knows they’re gonna get something special. That could be against [Daniel Bryan], that could be against Dean, and certainly it’s gonna be at No Mercy when I try to make history. We are on the cusp of something great, at the very least, it’s going to give people something to talk about. For years I have sat idle, while people attempt to tell me how things are. I don’t need to yell…every once in awhile I just have to explain how it really is. Yes, after I get done Talking Smack I’m taking the jet to New York because logistically I don’t have the time to turn around. Because I need to go back to work.”
Cena on why he doesn’t dress backstage with the rest of the WWE talents, and his relationship with Dean Ambrose:
“You are the sum of the five people you surround yourself with and I surround myself with people that just go. The Vince McMahons of the world, people who are the first to show up and the last to leave. No, I don’t stand and dress where Dean Ambrose dresses, but this is where someone has twisted reality. Dean Ambrose said, ‘John Cena and Dean Ambrose don’t like each other.’ No. Dean Ambrose doesn’t like John Cena. John Cena doesn’t care about Dean Ambrose. And if Dean Ambrose wants me to care about him at No Mercy, he’ll either need to step up or step aside.”

Paul Heyman basically says Brock Lesnar’s gonna kill Randy Orton in Chicago this weekend

Republished from Cagesideseats

Now that he’s finally been cleared from the injuries he sustained last time he faced Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Randy Orton is heading back into the ring against the Beast Incarnate again this Saturday, Sept. 24, in Chicago.
Paul Heyman, Lesnar’s advocate, is out here on the Facebook page of Allstate Arena hyping the match. And Heyman and WWE aren’t shying away from the controversy surrounding the blood outside and inside the Viper’s skullfrom his run-in with Brock in Brooklyn.
In fact, they’re turning up the volume on it, as Paul says Randy will need a priest to administer last rites after this rematch:

Following up a hot angle at a house show, and using one of Lesnar’s limited appearances, and drawing attention to real head injuries suffered in the course of scripted ones - all of that is weird to me.

Raw results, Sept. 19, 2016: Seth Rollins risks it all to punish Kevin Owens and Rusev

Republished from WWE

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Since Raw is in the home of Elvis Presley, it’s only fitting that the show began with not a hound dog, but a Big Dog. And it was one with a suspicious mind, no less, as Roman Reigns basically walked to the ring at the top of the broadcast looking for satisfaction after Rusev attacked him last week. He ...

Raw preview, Sept. 19, 2016: Rollins and Rusev must pay the price of interference

Republished from WWE

Seth Rollins must battle Rusev on Raw!

Raw General Manager Mick Foley might seem like a cuddly teddy bear of a man, especially if you’ve been binge-watching Holy Foley on WWE Network lately. But don’t forget that the heart of a Hardcore Legend still beats below the Santa Claus shirts and tweed blazers. Seth Rollins woke up a little bit of Cactus Jack in Foley last Monday night when he not only questioned the Raw GM’s integrity, but outwardly defied the Team Red authority figure by interfering in the main event bout between Roman Reigns and WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. Then again, so did United States Champion Rusev. Now, both Superstars must pay the price.
WWE.com has learned that there will be major fallout as a result of Rollins and Rusev's actions which helped deny Reigns his proper opportunity to join the WWE Universal Title Match at Clash of Champions. The punishment? The Architect must go one-on-one with The Bulgarian Brute on Monday night! Who will survive this absolute match of mayhem?
And while we’re on the subject, after being locked in Rusev’s excruciating Accolade submission hold, what retribution might Reigns have in store for The Super Athlete? Find out Monday night at 8/7 C on Raw.

WWE RUMORS: BROCK LESNAR TAKING ON KEVIN OWENS FOR THE UNIVERSAL TITLE AT ROYAL RUMBLE?

The Beast Incarnate was last seen by the WWE Universe at SummerSlam when he defeated Randy Orton by TKO. WWE’s timing couldn’t have been better for Lesnar’s return to the squared circle. His fight at UFC 200 was near the same time the WWE announced his match against Orton, so it helped his marketability and the WWE Universe’s hype for him to come back. At the same time, it was also the Viper’s next match after missing several months to a shoulder injury.

15 Things We Learned From Kevin Owens On Talk Is Jericho

Republished from Whatculture

WWE.com
Kevin Owens is the man in WWE right now. After winning the newly-created Universal championship - the main title on the flagship Raw brand - KO has been positioned as the top guy in the entire company. It's a spot most people never envisioned for the former independent scene standout, but it's one that's well-deserved.
Owens and his ally Chris Jericho have become one of the most entertaining aspects of WWE programming, and whether teaming together in the ring or doing backstage segments, their chemistry is off the charts. The new champion seems to be someone who has great chemistry with nearly every talent he interacts with, and he's a huge asset for Raw.
The two self-described best friends got together for a fun conversation as Jericho interviewed "the longest-reigning Universal champion" about his amazing 15-month run on the main roster, covering all the highlights. There's a touching story involving John Cena and Kevin's son, Owen, a hilarious Vince tale and heavy descriptions of Kevin's relationships with Triple H and Dusty Rhodes, plus much more.

Is Carmella getting a push?

The princess of Satin island has been doing exceptionally well over the past few weeks. In the latest tale of her ongoing accomplishments, Carmella, defeated Nikki Bella to secure a victory for her team on Smackdown LIVE.

It's amazing to see how the former NXT women's competitor has been performing in the ring and making the WWE Universe & Officials believe in her talent.

As far as her work goes, she is still working as a baby face & it will be nice to see how WWE changes her to be a heel.

Let's see how Carmella transpires as a new face on Smackdown.

Is Triple H returning next week on Raw?

This week on RAW's main event, Raw General Manager Mick Foley announced that WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens will face Roman Reigns & if the latter beats the champ then the current one on one match will turn into a triple threat match.

Does this have any implications? Well for some it maybe just another match but on the other hand this happens to be a great way to re-introduce Triple H into the scene.

Incase, you forgot, last week Triple H interrupted the fatal four match b/w Big Cass, Seth, Roman & the current Universal Champion Kevin Owens. It is a big possibility that he may return once again during next week's match & cost Roman the Title Match opportunity.

It shouldn't be forgotten that the duo had issues in the past & they have locked horns in the squared circle as well, so if we see Hunter screw Roman again, it wouldn't be a surprise.

What do you think?

(A) Triple H will return next week on Raw

(B) Roman Reigns will qualify for the title match

(C) Kevin Owens will disqualify himself.

(D) Anything else

Are you ready for WWE Backlash?

We are just round the corner for WWE Backlash, a PPV completely dedicated to Team Blue & it's superstars. When the brand extension took place & the rosters split, there were speculations that we may see brand specific PPV's & Backlash marks the start of the same this Sunday, Sep 11, LIVE only on the award winning WWE Network.

Is this a good move by WWE? Well, I feel that this is a great move because it let's you establish the brand & it's superstars distinctly, instead of getting forgotten against bigger superstars & bigger matches. So let's take a look at the matches that are happening at WWE Backlash:

Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Naomi vs. Natalya vs. Nikki Bella

It feels amazing to see that WWE is focusing on the Women's division as well. While we have a Women's Champion on RAW, Smackdown isn't far to crown it's own women's champion which will be decided on their first brand specific PPV Backlash. It would be interesting to see how these beautiful & dangerous & stylish WWE women's competitors perform on a night which can reform their careers & the brand as well. Who are you picking up as the winner & your women's champion?

My pick is Naomi

Tag Team Tournament Final

It's been a time of a lot of new things happening within WWE, be it brand split, new championships, new champions to name a few. The latest in this list is the tag team titles which need to be decided at WWE BACKLASH. There is a fight currently on within Smackdown as to who would claim the new tag team championships. The finalists shall be revealed this week on Smackdown & we may see a powerful tag team match at Backlash. What's your pick for the tag team titles?

My pick is American Alpha

The Miz vs Dolph Ziegler

The self proclaimed Hollywood A-lister has been undefeated for the last 160 days(till Backlash day) & that's what's entered his mind. He has become nastier, arrogant than ever before to the extent that he verbally abused the GM of Smackdown LIVE Daniel Bryan on the episode of Talking Smack & it's about time that someone put some sense in that man.

So, for the man who is in the showbiz we have the show-off Dolph Ziggler who can put Miz in his rightful place of being in the line for another title shot by defeating him at Backlash. Who do you pick as the winner?

My pick is Dolph Ziggler

Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt

The Viper vs The Eater of Worlds, now that's a match worthy of Wrestlemania proportion let alone Backlash. We all know that the Viper has the ability to strike at any split second with his powerful & vicious RKO, but make no mistake about it as the new face of fear is also powerful enough to bring any opponent down with his terrifying looks & if that isn't enough, you always have sister abigail to finish off the task.

These two decorated superstars have everything in their arsenal that could make a powerful match at WWE Backlash thus leaving the WWE Universe craving for more in months to come. Wait until you see how this amazing match transpires. Who do you pick as your winner?

My pick is Bray Wyatt

Dean Ambrose vs AJ Styles

The Lunatic Fringe has been the most unpredictable WWE Champion till now & now he heads to take on the man that calls himself 'The Phenomenal One'. With 2 wins over John Cena, Styles started calling himself as the face that runs the place, but will Dean put an end to the loud mouth Styles at Backlash?

Who do you pick as your winner? My pick is Dean Ambrose

Time to play the game!

The Universal Title match on Raw this week had everyone's attention & it looked like one hell of a match. I must admit, it definetely was one hell of a match as well with bodies flying, kicking, hitting & what not, but then the unthinkable happened.

The Game returned out of nowhere & asserted his authority by pedigreeing Roman Reigns & giving his favorite Seth Rollins an advantage, but the best was yet to come.. Hunter picked on Seth & caused him the title by giving him a pedigree as well and making KO the champ.

I'm sure none of us anticipated this from HHH as we all know that Seth happened to be his favorite, so what went wrong? Well actually nothing. Incase, you are aware, the WWE wanted to do a feud b/w Hunter & Seth last year but it never materialized. Who didn't agree to take the first step? Well, that's still unknown.

What we do know now is that Hunter has picked in his opponent & it seems we may see him fight Seth soon. Although, the bigger point is that he also picked on Roman before that, so are we going to see Roman vs HHH first & in the mean time have Seth go for the title & loose again due to some activity by the game & then see a 2 on 1 handicap match or maybe see a 1 on 1 match.

Well, only time can tell what will transpire, but we do know that now, It's time to play the game.

Is Paul Heyman going his way?

Did you all see the segment between Stephanie McMahon & Paul Heyman? Incase you missed it, here it is:

Does this mean that Paul Heyman may be out of WWE soon? Well, your guess is as good as mine, but I have other thoughts.

It is seemingly impossible for WWE to release Paul because he is a very popular face & has been an advocate for Lesnar for a long time. He has sold more matches in the history of the business than any other manager in the past/present. So why did WWE get down to this storyline?

I think that WWE wants to use Heyman as a catalyst who would in turn increase the number of Lesnar appearances on RAW & which would mean more damage to the superstars but also mean more entertainment & more money into WWE's bank account.

It comes as no surprise that instead of targeting Lesnar, the creative team thought of putting Heyman in the spotlight, because his mere presence on TV & not to forget on the mic can add a lot to the cable ratings because the WWE Universe loves to hear him & he has that style that is all worth it.

As far as the thought of Heyman leaving WWE goes, I don't see any reason for that because Heyman is able to manage both very effectively now, so we can put those to rest, unless they decide on something exciting.

Let's see what happens to Paul on this week's episode of RAW.

Is Seth Rollins no longer The Architect?

In a grueling set of events that took place during the Universal Title match on Raw, it seems like WWE isn't too keen on making Seth Rollins the champion.

It seems shocking, doesn't it? How could Hunter turn on his most admired wrestler? You can keep speculating but the truth is that hunter did pick on Seth & gave him a pedigree this Monday Night on Raw to help Kevin Owens win the vacated WWE Universal Title.

How does this action change the landscape of RAW? Well, it's simple, in the coming weeks we should expect Hunter coming to the flagship show & tell us all the reasons that inspired him to pick on Seth Rollins & then expect a turmoil of events to take place, because it isn't just Seth, even Roman wants to know that why did Hunter scree his title opportunity.

So could we see a Shield reunion or Seth turning baby face? Well, not really. The WWE wants to bank on the fact that both Seth & Roman are competitors as that will help them get more money into company's bank account & as they say, it's 'Best for business'.

We can definetely expect a lot of fireworks on Raw with Hunter, Steph feuding with each other & how would The Hardcore Legend add that pinch of powerful action to this. Well, only time can tell.

Let's see how this story unfolds.
