After WrestleMania 32 generated a whopping $170 million for Dallas and the surrounding area, the Orlando Sentinel (h/t WrestleZone)reports “it is believed that Wrestlemania 33 totals could eclipse last year’s record numbers due to more fans staying longer in the area.” In other words, WrestleMania 33 could be the most successful WWE pay-per-view ever, so the event is sure to have a match card worthy of such a distinction.
With Survivor Series taking place this weekend and The Royal Rumble around the corner, WWE has already appeared to lay the foundation for some of WrestleMania 33′s main events. Topping that list is a potential clash of icons pitting Cena against The Undertaker, a match that “Vince McMahon has wanted to do going back a couple years,” according to WrestlingNewsWorld.com, and one that was originally planned for WrestleMania 32 before Cena’s injury.
