The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Royal Rumble event set to take place on Sun., Jan. 24, 2016, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, the company's annual beginning of the year showcase featuring its most popular gimmick match. It will crown the next number one contender to the WWE world heavyweight championship.
We're still five weeks away from the gates opening in the Sunshine State and only one match is set for the card.

The 30-man over the top rope battle royal is back for another year. WWE has yet to announce any participants, as the company has to get through its Slammy Awards to close out 2015 before looking ahead to 2016. Still, expect that to come next week.
Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus, Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens, and New Day vs. Lucha Dragons are ongoing feuds that could culminate in matches at Royal Rumble next month.
