The Great Khali is reportedly no longer with WWE after the company decided not to renew the big man's contract. He has been in the wrestling industry for 14 years and with WWE since 2006.
News of Khali's departure from WWE was first reported by Pro Wrestling Insider and Figure Four Wrestling, via WrestlingInc.com:
Sources within WWE confirmed to F4WOnline.com and PWInsider.com on Friday that Dalip Singh Rana, who is known as the Great Khali, is no longer with the organization after his profile on WWE.com was transferred to the Alumni section on Thursday. It was noted to both websites that the 42-year-old's contract expired this past week and company officials opted not to renew it.
Despite being on the WWE roster for nearly nine years, Khali has been relegated to intermittent use on television for various reasons. He's 42 years old and has had various health problems throughout his career, including a 2012 surgery to remove a tumor from his pituitary gland.
Khali entered WWE with a bang, participating in a feud with The Undertaker that culminated in a Last Man Standing Match. During his tenure with the company, the 7'1" star won the World Heavyweight Championship one time.
