Jan 11: World Wrestling Entertainment’s weekly show Raw is in New Orleans today; the same city where The Beast Brock Lesner ended Undertaker’s streak. He is now returning to WWE, two weeks prior to Royal Rumble. The WWE’s has even gone further to relate Lesner’s return with Roman Reignsand the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Brock Lesner has been on a hiatus and recovery since his brutal Hell in a Cell match against Undertaker. While the Undertaker returned to feud with the Wyatt Family, the Beast remained out of the ring. Now after conquering the Streak and the Phenom, Brock Lesner may have set his eyes on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship; a championship that he never lost directly by pinfall. The championship now rests on the shoulders of his Wrestlemania 31 opponent Roman Reigns.

Last week’s Raw was able to create excitement on the Royal Rumble WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, as Vince McMahon decided to punish Reigns and put the title on the line in a 30 man over the top rope Battle Royal. Some contestants of the match are already fixed with many of them yet to be declared and by the official WWE previews, Brock Lesner may be one of the main contenders for the championship.
Brock Lesner and Roman Reigns have not defeated one another; they gave one amazing match inWrestlemania last year. Lesner and Vince McMahon have a history before; they have more than once sided together, and they have also fought one another. When Brock Lesner returned to WWE a couple of years back, he attacked the McMahon family and delivered an F5 to Vince. However, the two former foes can reunite here to beat up Roman Reigns.
This brawl would readily set up the match of Brock Lesner v Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 32 for theWWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, the rematch may not be as entertaining and surprising as the last year’s match. Regardless, with Brock Lesner returning, Monday Night Raw might finally be able to amplify the momentum generated last week
